The Market Place Privacy Statement – Young People Telephone Support

At The Market Place, which is based at 18a New Market Street, Leeds, LS1 6DG, we take your privacy seriously and will only use your personal information to ensure we can contact you to provide you with the services and support you request from us.

For you to be able to access telephone support from us we will need to collect the following information from you:

  • Name
  • Phone Number
  • Date of Birth
  • Post Code

We will use some of this information so we can contact you for your support session – Name and Phone Number

The other information we collect – Date of Birth and Post Code – is for monitoring and statistical purposes. We will share this information on 3 different data bases:

  • Our internal data base at The Market Place
  • The councils Outreach data base if you are between the ages of 11 -17
  • The Mental Health Data Set if you are between the ages of 11 – 25

Information contained in any monitoring and statistical reports we produce will not include any identifiable information about you

  • right to ask to access your information
  • right to ask to rectification or erasure of your information (to correct or remove information)
  • right to ask for restriction of processing of your information (to limit how we use your information)
  • right to object to processing of your information (to not use your information)

To request any of these please speak to your worker who will pass your request onto The Market Place information officer.

We only share identifiable information outside of The Market Place if:

  • we think you or someone else may be at risk
  • you give us consent to share that information
  • there is a legal basis to share information

From time to time we may contact you about new services or to see if you would like to be involved in a consultation or to see if you want to receive a newsletter.
