If you have used any of the services at The Market Place you can get more involved by joining our participation group called H.Y.P.E.

What we're about...

We are the HYPE group - made up of people who have used services at The Market Place.

HYPE stands for Helping Young People through Experience

We meet every two weeks, sometimes more often, to chat about the organisation and think about how to make things better...
...we run interview sessions with candidates to help decide who gets employed at The Market Place...
...we've made our own DVD which has been shown in Leeds and at a national conference...
...we've put out our own magazine...
...we're helping to try to get funding for a new building for The Market Place...
...we've helped with the design of this website...

The group is friendly, welcoming and informal. You get high street vouchers for attending, and help with travel. You also get a chance to meet different people and learn stuff about how a project like this works behind the scenes.
